LEAN LEE Trading Company Sdn. Bhd. has envolved over the past 56 years into a Plastic Packaging Company. Founded in 1945 by the late Mr. Khaw Chooi Ark, Lean Lee commenced operation as paper product manufacturer in Jelutong, Penang. The company underwent a transformation by expanding its business in plastic product and straw production separately in 1957 and 1964 which loacted in Bukit Mertajam and Mak Mandin. In the year 1972 the company has it's 50000 square feet plant located in Industry Park. With acquisition and development, the company moved into poly rope production. From 1966, Lean Lee From 1966, Lean Lee embarked on a major expansion drive. Helmed by the second generation of the Khaw family, the late Mr. Khaw Khoon Hai, the company was completely revamped and upgraded to plastic bag production. Through the years, the company has grown tremendously from monthly capacity of 30 metric tones to 450 metric tones. Today, as one of the largest plastic bag manufacturers in Malaysia, Lean Lee truly believes in growing together with customers, suppliers and associates. The company has taken upon itself to set the aim of leading and setting the standard of excellence in the industry. We attempt to achieve this via stringent quality control which comprises of maintaining current standards whilst simultaneously striving for constant innovation and improvement in performance.

LEAN LEE has finally accomplished the mission of attaining the ISO 9002 Quality Management System Awards on 10th November, 2000 and strictly adheres to commitment to systematically implement Quality Policy and Quality Objectives. With this constant changes and advancement, Lean Lee has earned the respect and trust of the domestic plastic needs. The company has now expanded it's business operation abroad under the strict supervision and management of Mr. Khaw Siang Hee, Khaw Siang Siang, Khaw Siang Leng, the 3rd generation of the Khaw family, and has introduced all its products to new markets especially Europe, Ireland, Mauritius, U.A.E, Australia, Papua New Guinea, FIJI and Asian Countries.
